One of our biggest renovations yet…1950’s Cherokee rancher on the river!
Sunday, December 21st, 2014

We’re off to a great start on this 1950’s rancher renovation. Our biggest and most extensive renovation to date, the homeowners love their neighborhood and lot, but wanted a “new” home. So we are delivering.
The entire inside of the home has been gutted down to the studs, keeping the original house structure intact. We’ll maintain the style and character, but improve the flow and living space throughout home.

The “new” home will have all new wiring, plumbing, hvac, insulation, sheetrock, windows and doors.
With the inside demolition complete, we are beginning to rebuild, starting with a new master suite addition. It will have a stunning vaulted ceiling with a spacious master bath and closet combination.

As for the rest of the house, what’s next?
We’re putting in beautiful hardwood floors throughout the home with custom tile in the baths. The kitchen will be fabulous with an island, a custom backsplash you won’t want to miss, striking quartz countertops and painted cabinetry. To top it all off, we’ll install gorgeous stainless appliances.

Even the outside will have a makeover…the front facade will get a new entrance while the driveway will feature a beautiful and functional porte cochère.
La pièce de résistance? We can’t wait to start on the river room addition off the back of house.

Picture ten foot, coffered ceilings with fantastic trim detail featuring a wall of doors which open to a pergola-covered patio with a fire pit. Couple that with a panoramic view of the Tennessee River and bluff…It’s going to be fabulous!
