McCamy on the (Short-Term) Market

McCamy is on the market once again! This time with a new adventure into the short term rental market. For the last couple of months, the McCamy team has worked hard to get this home into shape for Knoxville visitors to enjoy. Built in 1899 and in need of quite the overhaul, we had our work cut out for us!
Although this house has history, the charm that usually comes along with that had mostly been left behind throughout the last century. McCamy’s designer on this project made it her mission to bring back some vintage feel to this well-loved home.
One way she did that was by bringing in tile shapes and patterns that can stand the test of time. Subway and black and white hex tiles make for a classic design everytime. Several people have asked if the tile here was original–which was exactly the design goal! Marble tile in classic shapes is a perfect blend of timeless and trendy–another important quality when aiming to appeal to a wide market. And of course Knoxville folk do love some checkerboard! Another on-trend choice that really never goes out of style. (Especially if it’s in orange.)
Another task our designer took on was furnishing the entire home for rentals. She had some fun with color and patterns, and hunted for vintage pieces to sprinkle in among the new. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep 8-10, making this the perfect spot for all your Knoxville getaways! There are plenty of beds as cozy as they are pretty, and all the TVs to match–what more could you need!
