Don’t Miss the 2013 Parade of Homes

The Knoxville Parade of Homes is underway for 2013! Our very own Hunter Purnell is the Chairman for this year’s event. This free event provides an opportunity for everyone to walk through and tour various new and totally renovated homes in Knoxville and the surrounding areas. The parade showcases homes in a variety of price ranges so anyone looking to buy a new home or upgrade their current residence with the latest renovations can find useful information and inspiration. With over 35 homes to look at you are sure to find something you love!
The homes are open from 12pm – 5pm during the next two weekends of October 11-13th and October 18-20th.
Finding the homes you would like to visit could not be any easier this year!
One way to get information is to pick up the Parade of Homes Magazine at local ORNL Federal Credit Union locations. Inside the magazine you will find details, directions, and feature lists for all of the homes in the parade as well as building plans and helpful articles.
Another way to get information about The Knoxville Parade of Homes is through the MyHomeFound mobile app. Users can download the app for both the Android and iPhone platforms. Once the app is downloaded you can browse through all of the homes featured in this years parade and find a multitude of information about each of them. You can even search for homes you would like to visit by filtering through details such as location, square footage, price, and number of bedrooms and baths. This really helps users conveniently navigate their Parade of Homes experience.
After you are done looking through all of the homes on your list you can go online and vote for your favorites to win the People’s Choice Award. Voting is broken down by home price ranges and has categories for best home, best kitchen, best bathroom, and best outdoor space. As an added bonus, once you have finished voting you are automatically entered to win the People’s Choice Award Vacation Getaway.
