Summer Blues

In a world of white, neutral kitchens, there’s just something about a pop of color, and our July feature is bringing us all the color we’re craving! Located on a quiet cul de sac in Whittington Creek, this house had all the makings of a forever home, but lacked the personality that the homeowners desired. McCamy stepped in to help make their vision a reality, and the result is picture perfect.
The goal was to update the finishes and make the home more comfortable to live in for the homeowners. A full kitchen demo was not needed–the cabinets and layout were usable in the new design, so a custom cabinet refinisher was brought in to bring this kitchen to life. The countertops, range hood, backsplash and fixtures were swapped out for more current styles, but the overall feel stayed very classic.
The laundry room right off the kitchen also saw a full upgrade. New cabinetry was installed for significantly more storage space, and new tile adds some fun personality. The pops of color are carried throughout the home, making these selections feel perfectly cohesive.
These homeowners loved working with McCamy so much the first time, they had to do it again! A previous remodel job is where it all started, but this time around there was a larger scope of work and more challenges in the construction industry. They reflected that, “Even though there were supply chain issues, they made it happen. McCamy hit expected marks with little exception.”
Their favorite part of working with us? They say it was when we got out of their hair! Just kidding. They actually said the finished product–they loved working with McCamy almost as much as their new kitchen. “The attention to detail and the professional responsiveness from the team are invaluable and worth the price,” they praised.
The homeowners have and will continue to recommend McCamy for all major projects in their friends’ and families’ lives. If you’re itching to see what the hype is about, contact McCamy here. We’d love to know how your creative wheels are turning for your next renovation or addition.
