Their newly reimagined backyard is the very definition of outdoor luxury. Designed with some of Knoxville’s best firms to blend natural beauty with high-end functionality. This elevated retreat features a stunning custom pool, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, and even a private putting green for leisurely afternoons. Every element was chosen to create an extension of the home and a front-row seat to nature’s finest views.
Let’s Get Cooking
Designed in collaboration with Jonathan Miller Architecture, the pavilion is the centerpiece of this thoughtfully crafted outdoor retreat. A low-profile metal roof was chosen to preserve unobstructed river views. While the outdoor kitchen beneath it is fully equipped for year-round entertaining. Anchored by a custom stone island and professional-grade grill from Ferguson, the kitchen’s materials are echoed in the nearby fire pit, creating a cohesive design.
Just steps away, the fire pit offers a warm, inviting focal point for cooler evenings. Plus it is surrounded by space to dine, lounge, and gather. Every element was carefully considered to enhance the natural surroundings while offering a luxurious, functional space for effortless outdoor living.
Taking a Splash
Perfect for escaping the record-breaking summer heat, this resort-style pool—created in collaboration with Sequoyah Pools—offers the ultimate retreat right at home. Generous shallow ledges and in-water loungers provide plenty of space to relax, sunbathe, and stay cool, all while enjoying uninterrupted views of the Tennessee River.
The sleek, modern design is integrated into the natural landscape. With hand-selected boulders forming retaining walls that mirror the texture of the river bluff. Magnolia Landscape Construction brought Carex Design Group’s vision to life with expert installation. From the pool deck, landscaping, and hardscape—ensuring every element blends beautifully with its surroundings. To preserve the sweeping vistas, the pool deck was intentionally designed without guardrails, allowing the riverside views to remain uninterrupted. It’s positioned to maximize its riverfront setting. This pool invites you to unwind, recharge, and fully embrace the beauty of outdoor living.
Game Time
Thanks to Playrite our clients have no need to head to the course for a little extra practice. This custom putting green brings the game home. Integrated into the backyard design, it offers a convenient and stylish way for our clients to sharpen their short game without ever leaving the comfort of their own outdoor space. Whether it’s a quiet solo session or a friendly competition with guests, this feature adds both fun and function to the landscape.
