Bridgewater Baptist becomes Bridgewater Place in a beautiful McCamy Construction renovation!

Purchased by some investors nearly three years ago, the former Bridgewater Baptist Church was a diamond in the rough. The outdated building had been vacant for some time and was waiting for someone to bring it back to life.
McCamy Construction was hired to make that happen, to bring a warm, high end, residential look to the almost 40,000 square foot building. Requiring light commercial renovation, our talented team went the extra mile to transform each space. The result: A stunning event center called
Bridgewater Place.
From areas for weddings such as bride and groom rooms, and a reception hall seating 135 guests, to classrooms and conference rooms, we worked hard to ensure just the right feel in each space:
For weddings:
• Private dressing areas for the bridal party, including a groom’s chamber
• Smaller, more intimate rooms for wedding showers
• A 2,000 square foot reception hall with an adjacent, fully equipped kitchen
• For larger parties, a gymnasium accommodating up to 450 guests
• An outdoor field for tented events in the warmer months
For meetings and presentations:
• The boardroom with a 16-foot conference table and room for 40 people
• Classrooms which can seat up to 50 people
• The assembly and reception halls for large meetings
• The 6,000 square foot gymnasium for athletic events with adjoining restrooms

Knox News Sentinel, the manager of
Bridgewater Place, Kim Robertson, says of the building, “The advantages of the facility are convenience and versatility. You can have everything from very casual up to formal and we’re conveniently located in West Knoxville. You’ll never have a guest getting lost on the way to your party or your wedding.”
